The Full Story
About
I began my career shortly after completing high school. I worked with an organization restoring historic buildings in Brooklyn Heights NY. While there I was throughly trained in plaster restoration, surface preparation, and painting. After mastering those skills I was transfered to the wallcovering department. There I was trained in the art of wallpaper installation. After five years in New York I left and started Custom Finishes. I am a member of WIA the Wallcovering Installers Association.
Early Days
In 1991 I opened Custom Finishes as a wallpaper installation company serving homeowners, designers and contractors. I have worked with designers from New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, as well as locally in North Carolina and Virginia. Due to my relationship with Lowes I was asked to partner with them installing window treatments. This lead to being contacted by Graber to partner with them as a certified window treatment specialist.

With 40 years of experience, I provide high quality installation of all types of wallcovering and window treatments
